Hey there, Friend!
Welcome to the final week of October and the closing chapter of this month’s theme, Uncover Your Magic. ✨ This week, we’re celebrating one simple, powerful truth: your authentic self is magic.
☕ Inside this edition: a Coffee Thought filled with joy, gratitude, and a few smashed plates (rage room style!), reflections on embracing the version of yourself you once hid, and a reminder that your everyday moments can be pure magic when you live as your truest self.
The life you’re creating isn’t about becoming someone new—it’s about remembering who you’ve always been. The quirks, the laughter, the heart, the softness—they’re all part of your magic.
Coffee Thoughts: A Week of Real-Life Magic
As I sit here sipping my “magic bean juice,” I’m reflecting on the events of this past week—and it’s been nothing short of magical.
Sunday was spent at the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire with my family. The day was bright and breezy, just cool enough to be comfortable. We wandered through vendor stalls filled with beautiful treasures, ate incredible food, and watched some truly fun shows. My face actually hurt from smiling so much, and more than once I dropped my sunnies over my eyes to hide the tears of pure joy.
Then came our second wedding anniversary. We both worked that day, but we came home together and celebrated with two perfectly cooked ribeyes and cupcakes from the same bakery that made our wedding cake—same flavor, of course! We also broke open our yearly wine bottle filled with messages from our wedding guests. Two down, twenty-three to go.
The next day, we were both off work, and my husband planned an entire surprise day for us. It couldn’t have been more perfect. He booked a session at our local rage room (if you’ve never tried it—do it!). There’s something incredibly cathartic about smashing something made of thick glass, especially when it’s labeled Work Stress. We laughed, we let go, we lived. Afterward, we went to lunch at a new spot, talked about life, did a little shopping, came home for leftovers, and curled up for a movie. It was such a simple, beautiful, magical day.
But here’s the real reflection behind all that joy: this magic wouldn’t have been possible 20 years ago—or even 10, or 6. It’s only possible because I was brave enough to change my life, one day and one breath at a time.
Learning to love myself helped me see what I needed to release, what I was worthy of, and who I really am. And once I started, I didn’t stop. I kept believing better for myself.
Now, I’m in my dream relationship with my dream husband. I have a family dynamic full of peace and laughter. I can relax and really be in the moment. I get teary-eyed because I’m living the life I once only dreamed of—and it all started when I stopped hating everything about me.
When I accepted that my quirky, goofy, creative, joyful self was enough—that I am enough—everything changed.
My life is magic. But you know what? So am I.
And the best part? So are you.

Your Authentic Self Is Magic
The real you isn’t too much—it’s the exact energy your world needs.
There’s a kind of peace that comes when you stop trying to shrink yourself to fit into spaces that were never built for you. When you finally exhale and let your quirks, your laughter, your edges, and your truth take up their rightful space.
Authenticity is its own kind of magic. It’s the quiet confidence that grows when you stop editing yourself for approval and start honoring who you’ve always been. It’s the moment you decide that your joy doesn’t need permission, your voice doesn’t need polishing, and your dreams don’t need validation to be worthy.
For so long, many of us were taught that love and belonging had to be earned by being easier, quieter, thinner, neater, or “more together.” But the truth is, you don’t have to perform for connection. The people who are meant for you—the ones who see your light—will love you for the unfiltered, glorious version of you that shows up honestly.
And when you finally allow that version to lead, something beautiful happens. You start to attract experiences, opportunities, and relationships that feel aligned instead of forced. You stop performing and start living.
You don’t find magic by becoming someone else—you uncover it by being more you than ever before.
Take a Moment for Self-Reflection
Your magic lives in your authenticity—in the unfiltered, fully expressed version of you that the world most needs to see. Take a few moments this week to reflect on the real you that’s waiting to shine:
Where in my life do I still feel like I’m editing or holding parts of myself back?
When do I feel the most like me—what am I doing, who am I with, how do I feel in that space?
What would it look like to live one day completely as my authentic self, no filters, no apologies?
Remember: your authenticity isn’t something you have to earn—it’s something you come home to.
Personal Reflection: Coming Home to Me
As I think back on my week — the joy, the laughter, the peace — I realize how much of it comes down to this one thing: I’m finally living as me. The me who laughs too loudly, tears up too easily, loves deeply, and still dances in the kitchen for no reason at all.
There was a time when I would’ve hidden that part of myself. I would’ve toned it down to make others comfortable, polished the edges so no one could see the real me underneath. But the truth is, the magic I feel in my life right now exists because I stopped doing that.
I stopped chasing approval and started choosing alignment. I stopped worrying about being “too much” and started honoring what feels right.
This version of me — the one who’s honest, soft, silly, and strong — she’s not a work in progress anymore. She’s home.
What I Read This Week
This week, I’ve been reading from a book that’s close to my heart — 365 Days of I Am Statements by… well, me. 💛
It’s funny how the right words always seem to show up exactly when we need them. The day we went to the Renaissance Faire, the affirmation was “I Am Sprightly.” And let me tell you, it fit perfectly. That day was full of lightness, laughter, and the kind of joyful energy that makes you feel like you’ve stepped straight into a fairytale.
Just a few days later, on our anniversary, the affirmation was “I Am Untroubled.” Those words settled over me like peace. Life isn’t perfect — it’s never meant to be — but I am deeply grateful for the calm and happiness that fill the spaces that once held chaos.
And the next day, the affirmation was “I Am Developing.” That one stopped me in my tracks. Because that’s what this journey really is — a constant unfolding. Day by day, year by year, I’m still growing, still learning, still becoming the best version of myself. Every choice to love myself a little deeper keeps shaping a life I couldn’t have imagined before.
Each affirmation this week reminded me of how far I’ve come and how much magic continues to bloom from simply choosing love — especially self-love.
